This group called Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda. Bad hombres or not?

I did some research on this group and I was trying to find some articles that gave both the good and the bad sides of this group. Had no trouble finding plenty of descriptions of their bad side but I couldn't find any describing their good side so I left the links out of this post for that reason.

Are we being lied to about this group? Or are they the like what I have been reading about them?

What is your opinion of this group? And how should they be dealt with? Should we just leave them alone to do whatever they are doing? Or should we interfere if we can? What do you guys think about this?

Other than their own propaganda, of course. They rape, pillage and murder their way through villages and sometimes whole regions, all in the name of a Kim Jong Il-style megalomaniac who claims he's the Holy Spirit.

Actually, one prominent LRA supporter is none other than Rush Limbaugh! Obviously knowing nothing about the situation, he bloviated "Why are we sending troops to attack a Christian group? Just because they're fighting Muslims?" (The government of Uganda is actually run by Xtian fundies who passed a "kill the gays" bill at the behest of their counterparts here in the U.S.)
