Herman Cain sounded a bit tart in an interview with Sean Hannity on the radio a bit ago, per POLITICO's Juana Summers, as he talked about getting up to speed on foreign policy.

But he was cheerier on the issue of Rick Perry calling him "brother" in the debate the other night:

On criticism that he doesn’t know much about foreign policy:

“Do you think I'm dumb enough not to be learning some of the intricacies of foreign policy? Do you think I'm dumb enough to not learn some of this?”

And this:

“I wasn’t offended that he called me brother. He could have been saying ‘Christian brother.’ That is not a point of controversy. I don’t know why anybody would bother to bring that up.”

“I’ve got a lot of brothers from another mother out there!”
