2. Why are they making this a Friday news dump?
Rhetorical, don't expect you to know.

It's just odd

4. Perhaps
because the predictable right-wing "Soft on defense loves terrorism WHAAARGARBLE" response will likewise wind up in the dump.

7. No matter WTF he does, it's never right, too late, not enough, pandering, triangulating, etc. etc.
The only thing not said is that he's not white enough. I sometimes wonder how many people think it, though. That racism is an ugly thing.

It's tiresome. I didn't vote for the guy in the primary, but I got the spirit, and support him wholeheartedly. I wish more Democrats could understand how completely unacceptable ANY viable alternative to him would be, and if they want change, they need to get off their asses and grow it from the grassroots on up.

Easy to gripe, harder to grow and harvest the crop. You can gripe in a minute, bringing in the sheaves takes time!

8. There WASN'T any justification for keeping the troops there one minute past
Noon on January 20, 2009. It's been for nothing since then. How can you deny that?

Now, it's too late to send any positive message to the world. Now it just means the status quo will go on forever.

Why are you ok with that?

We didn't need any Scoop Jackson-LBJ shit this time.
