Rubio plans to correct Senate biography

Sen. Marco Rubio's office said today that it plans to correct a passage on his official biography that says his parents "came to America following Fidel Castro's takeover."

Records show his parents first arrived in 1956; Castro did not takeover until 1959. Rubio still defends the characterization of his parents as exiles, a theme he has employed in his political life.

Still, the uproar over questions about his telling of the story and the obviously incorrect timeline is a political problem for the young Republican.

But I suspect he is being taken off Willard's list. I do think Willard will prevail and I think he will pick Christie or Ryan.

I think all media outlets should call Mitt "Willard" as it is his real first name, and may remind people of Willard the Rat.

6. His biography was not intended to be a factual statement.

It may be true that his parents were "exiles." They did not flee the Castro regime. Rather they fled the same people that Castro opposed and overthrew.

I guess that makes Rubio a Communist sympathizer.
