So, what we have is the "librul media" tying a presidential visit with a horrendous result that occurs in just days, as if by magic.

And I would suspect a good slice of the Raleigh area reads that and jumps to the intended, obvious conclusions.

5. actually the fault is almost entirely our state legislature's

they refused to renew the penny sales tax that had been added on a few years ago and thus laid off thousands of state employees and teachers (here teachers are paid almost entirely by the state). Without that loss of government jobs our rate wouldn't have gone up at all.
