3. I didn't know that, but knowing that makes me feel a lot more confident that the U.S. is doing what
should be done morally. That's very good to know.

4. No. I was a Clarkie from day one.
I really thought he would be Defense Secretary. He's a brilliant guy. I still lament Kerry taking Edwards over Clark in 2004.

11. And that's why foreign policy is one area that isn't a complete f*ck up.
These wars, as much as I disagree with them, have been prosecuted in a close to flawless manner. Clearly someone behind the scenes knew WTF they were doing.

Clark should have been President, IMO.

You do know our war policy in Afghanistan is a complete failure, don't you?

20. I understand you point and don't disagree about the man.
But the military is already too much in control of the country.
I don't what them in any high elected or appointed office.

Personally I think the decider guy over the Joint Chiefs should always be a professional civilian.

19. Yes, I'd be shocked to learn it.
I hope you are right, but I'd like to know what you are referencing.

Usually such relationships are not kept quiet. I actually came to think there were somewhat frosty relations between Clark and Obama for some reason.

Our involvement in Libya does have the Wes Clark look, I must admit.

Much as I was a completely devoted Clarkie, I now see him as a much better military strategist and statesman than a politician.

Without substantiating it with valid info from a respected source?

Thread fail.
