Most ethical (and OWS-friendly) way of doing online transactions/donations?

Beyond credit and debit cards and PayPal, I was wondering if there are any alternative ways to handle online monetary transactions. A quick search turned up two links that offered alternatives I've never heard of (probably because not all are available in the US).

I was wondering if anyone has experience with any alternatives for online transactions that you can recommend? PayPal is the go-to source, but I've heard quite a few horror stories.

I'd like to see credit unions and community banks form their own network and offer online transaction tools. Here's an article from Credit Union Times which speaks to this:

1. I've had no problems with MoneyBookers (and they are WAY more International-friendly than Pay-Pal..

and, their fees are generally lower.
