. . . all at the top of the republican presidential field. Below them, pure and unadulterated nutters.

It's just amazing how few explanations and how little accountability the media has demanded from these political hacks about how they intend to run the nation; much less how they intend to translate their nuttery into effective policy.

Yet, the same media demands our Democratic president be held accountable for the republican legislators' obstruction of the solutions offered by the White House. Today I saw an article which scornfully proclaimed that the President's latest Executive initiative on mortgage refinancing wasn't nearly enough to solve our economic crisis.

Never mind that each and every economic initiative from the WH and Democrats meant to provide solutions and remedies has been repeatedly blocked from consideration by republicans in both houses. Let's just pretend that this latest unilateral move by President Obama (not waiting for republicans to act) is the entirety of his economic program.

Better yet, let's pretend that republicans have offered ONE at all.
