7. If you are going to drop a train-wreck of a post on the forum, the very least you could do
is provide a link.

but since you never ever do anything more than your usual ridiculous one line of BS, why should I ever expect you substantiate your claim?

For a long time, I had thought about putting you on ignore, but then I decided, all good forums need a sideshow. So are you mr. lifto? or the werewolf guy?

8. and he was WRONG and misled thousands of now-remorseful voters

Hell, I was a young fool, I voted for Nader in 2000 (and 1996). In Oregon. Where Nader got 5% and Gore still won. But it was a lot closer than it needed to be. And if I had been voting in Florida, I would have chewed my bedsheets every night for the next 8 years, that I'd been a part of letting the evil clown president into office.

People are quite right to ask for some substance to go with assertion. In this medium, it requires a minimum of effort to back up what you say with -- at least -- a link.

try this one: http://www.google.com

11. He probably considered his comment to be an easily verifiable statistic.
Those don't need links according to many here.

12. Gore could have made it clear that it wasn't the case.
Instead he said "I agree with Governor Bush" a thousand times, kicked it DLC style for years, and picked Lieberman.

I voted for Gore but sure as shit not free of great concern that either choice leads somewhere I cannot abide, even if one is way worse. Once tolerance is exceeded, the difference in unacceptable loses any real justification. Dead is dead, there are worse ways to go than others but you are still gone.

The current gap in the parties has mostly been reduced to sanity. Nuts versus seemingly sane people supporting nutty policies. I used to believe the real difference was the constituencies but it is clear that with the right piper, folks on either side will dance and dance gleefully to about any tune.
