I figured out the Cain "smoker" ad.
In a way, it's pure genious that he released a very low budget commercial the media is showing for free. TV time is a major cost to a campaign, and viral videos are a cheap way to assure everyone sees your message. Unfortunately, there's no way to ensure news outlets play the entire spot, so the candidates name is the only part we see.

Just as unfortunate for Cain, it makes him appear inept for making poor administrative choices. Personally I smoke like a 73 Pinto, but even I know it would have been more socially acceptable if his campaign manager had just started picking his nose or farting loudly at the end.

As an aside, I often joke in bars that since I can't smoke I'm going to have to replace it with another disgusting habit like picking my nose. I threaten friends that they aren't going to like it any more than my smoking once they find out what second hand boogers are.

2. Some resourceful and artistic film producer should do a spoof with the narrator smoking a doobie.

3. Please don't give him credit by calling it genius. Like Palin, there's nothing to figure out.
Don't give him the Palin treatment like the media does by ascribing brilliance to stupidity. You know, the "Being There" syndrome.

Besides being a bigot and ignorant, he's just plain creepy.

4. I'm guessing MSRNC is airing it around the clock.
Genius indeed.
