This week, Walker launched the site laying out his accomplishments after nine and a half months in office, including repealing most collective bargaining for public employees and closing a $3 billion budget gap over two years mostly through cuts in state spending. The move come ahead of a recall attempt against Walker that will begin on Nov. 15.
Democrats Tuesday said they were filing a complaint with the state Government Accountability Board alleging Walker's site was an improper use of taxpayer resources.
Cullen Werwie, a spokesman for the Republican governor, said that Walker's office checked with the accountability board before launching the website. Werwie said the site was "nothing different" from what the governor has been saying in speeches and news releases.
