Liberalism is dead in America. Long live the oligarchy

Their agenda took a while to set in motion after Jack, Martin and Bobby were assassinated. It took until 1980 for them to get an amiable imbecile, St. Ronny, into office. And they’ve owned us ever since.

Serfdom is not always apparent to the serfs. Hell, you can work in a factory for a few bucks a day and never grasp that you are being victimized. The “Owners” of us all have more ways to deceive us than we have means with which to resist them.

We’ve had 30 years in which to stand up to them, fight them and throw them onto the dustbin of history. Yet, not enough people understand that our country has been stolen from us. And those who do grasp it don't have the power (or votes) to stop them.

In case you haven't noticed, democracy is dead in America. We’re being ruled by tyrants and their servants whom we call “politicians.”

OWS understands this and has it right. The OWS movement may or may not last. But as for the other countless millions of us, it’s imperative that we finally “get it” and stand up. If we don’t, we’ve had it.

And on really bad days, I fall into believing that we’re already done.

3. I agree with most of your post but I do not think liberalism

is dead. I think it has roared back to life and the 99% is going to see to that! Keep on keeping on!

5. I think that liberalism still exists in the souls of most decent people

But I'm damned if I know what it will take to make them mad enough to finally get active enough and shout down the insane minority who have grabbed the public megaphone.
