Cain is a fake candidate: He's there to move policies right for Koch brothers
I just watched Rachel Maddow's expose on Herman Cain's campaign, and it only took 20 seconds to find this on ABC news:

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/extensive-ties-powerful-koch-group-boost-cain-14746710

Herman Cain was never supposed to become the GOP candidate. Just like the Koch brothers fabricated the Tea Party to move policies right, Cain is just their next attempt to remove all regulations for their businesses.

That's why Cain has that ridiculous shit eating grin: This was supposed to be a ploy, and instead, he's in the lead.

But the thing is, he doesn't have a campaign.

The Koch brothers have financed him so far, but they see no reason to finance his campaign staff, or buy him a real economic policy. That's why the 999 from the Sim City game was used. It's all been a game, a giant joke.

But the tea baggers are so stupid, they fell for it.

He knows he's not going to win or even be the presidential candidate to go up against Obama. That's why he knows nothing about policy or history: He's just an actor. This is all a joke to him. He's the Koch's Sarah Palin.

He doesn't understand the things he says, nor does he care.

I'm thinking that Romney could probably get some damning quotes from his friends and family. They could probably get something good on video from an old friend. This could end overnight if Romney sent an investigative team out to do it.

He's completely phoney.

1. Extreme rhetoric is almost "normal" during primaries
It's always been well known that candidates will really push the envelope of discourse, not because they are going to win, but in order to push the "center" to the right.

2. I want to see him advance further into this campaign before the bottom falls out.
The higher up he rises, the deeper he'll fall.

That will be a thing of beauty. A 'bagger in pieces.

4. He's a marionette, but he's laughing all the way to the bank.
Edited on Tue Oct-25-11 07:23 PM by tblue
My understanding is he is just selling his books (to himself to give away) and living off his 'campaign' money a la Christine O'Donnell or Sarah Palin. They found a way to make a killing off of people's hopes and trust. And they sure do live high on the hog. You can bet they never slept in a Motel 6 or ate at Jack in the Box. No, they are living it up.

The people, if they ever figured this out, should be livid. The fact that they're not shows how what gullible foolsi they are.

8. Yes. He's a "motivational speaker" and sells books. It's free publicity for him.

6. How come the national media pay attention to the ass? Just because he's connected to Kochs?
The media never give a Democratic candidate the time of day -- consider how Dennis Kucinich has been treated during his campaigns for the nomination.

It really is clear who directs the GOP kabuki. I wonder who calls the directors' shots?

9. I agree they put him out there to get out the flat tax meme into the public's brains. I think he
has done much better than planned. I also think Herman Cain is doing it to raise his profile so he can then sell books/command a greater speaker's fee when he losses the nomination. All in all a win/win for the Cain/Kochs or should I say the koch/caines!!

17. A ringer and for all the wrong reasons.
Now you're getting it. I said this shortly after he announced. One learns to look at the archetypal dynamic in play. This was vividly brought to my attention in the spring of 2008 by an elderly gentleman who is an old family friend, an arch conservative actually. Then, it seemed for all intents and purposes 2008 was Hillary's to lose, and he told me no, it will be the guy from Chicago.

I'd like to learn more about what you see as the archetypal dynamic in play here. If you have the time.

Thnx.

21. He's a minstrel for the Tea Party
Hate to say it, but that's exactly what he is. He's made himself a minstrel, parroting right-wing talking points and entertaining the teabaggers. He goes on stage, puts on a little song and dance for the right-wingers, they then pat each other on the back and tell each other how glad they are that racism is dead.

23. I am certain this is true. I refuse to take him seriously. This is a joke. Even
total losers like Palin and Bachmann had (or have) to answer to a large number of constituents as an elected office holder.
