Look before you sit; a snake popped out of a toilet last night.

Police from 12 Division are reporting two incidents of a snake sliding into Woolner Ave. apartments near Jane St. and St. Clair Ave. W.

“I guess it’s getting cold, so the snakes are coming in,” said Sgt. Bradley Fisher. “They’ve decided they’re not gonna stay in the walls.”

Around 2 a.m. Tuesday, a corn snake was found in 190 Woolner Ave. after apparently sliding through a wall. That night, a woman reported a small python sliding out of her toilet around midnight at 220 Woolner Ave. Neither species are poisonous. ......(more)

the woman said it was a good thing she looked before sitting on the toilet. glad i have a septic system.
