WHERE is the video evidence of Oakland protesters throwing rocks to provoke OPD?

After watching a dozen videos, I have not seen a single instance in which the protesters instigated the police. Not one.

If someone can provide me evidence, I will view it and make an objective, unbiased opinion of what I can SEE.

What I will not do, is swallow the media assumption that "law enforcement says..." No way.

What DID I see?

What I did see was a SINGLE instance of a protester throwing a tear gas canister back at the cops.

4. Police routinely lie and get away with it.

Having worked as a civilian in law enforcement for some time, I came to realize that even the "good cops" have this attitude that it's perfectly okay to lie to put some people away. The rationale is that even if the person involved didn't commit the crime for which they were accused/convicted "eventually they WILL do something illegal".

So, if the Oakland PD saw Occupy Oakland as any kind of threat, they trumped up the whole attack and used it as an excuse for what they did. And in their own minds they are perfectly justified. That's how being a "peace officer" in America will twist one's mind...

That's what they said about Kent State too. I always wondered where all those rocks that they said were being thrown, came from. There aren't that many rocks just lying around and back then especially they didn't use them much in landscaping.
