Props to SDPD
Occupy San Diego
At an interview given by San Diego Police Department Assistant Chief Boyd Long this morning, among many comments he stated: "This protest has been peaceful and orderly. We will not see what is happening in other cities, happen in San Diego. I support their freedom of speech and assembly."

I suspect there is some tug of war in background (some in the city council would love the cops to kick ass). But that's another story.

5. And that is the reason for the Regional Academy
where they spend over two weeks going over amendments now.

The bad boy locally, literally, is El Cajon PD these days, followed, to a point by Oceanside.

Today I was there, yes heavy presence but none in riot gear.
