"The Intruder" (1963) drama about racism
Really creepy clip from "The Intruder" (1963), also known as "Shame."
Written by Charles Beaumont (who also wrote a lot of episodes of The Twilight Zone) and directed by Roger Coreman.
William Shatner, in a pre-pre-pre-Star Trek performance plays an anti-segregationist trying to call a small town to action in the deep south.

A stark reminder of the U.S. as it once was . . . an still is in some ways.
