Poll question: When will the net worth of the wealthiest billionaire exceed the number of people who ever lived?
Edited on Thu Oct-27-11 12:40 PM by valerief
Number of US dollar vs. number of heads.

The number of people (or useless eaters as the .01% call us) who have ever lived on Earth (107.6 billion) is still greater than the 2011 Forbes net worth of the wealthiest billionaire (74 billion US dollars).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_billionaires

NUMBER WHO HAVE EVER BEEN BORN 107,602,707,791
World population in mid-2011 6,987,000,000
Percent of those ever born who are living in 2011 6.5

3. You are equating "people" with dollar bills? That's disturbing.
I think people are priceless, in their own ways, by and large!

5. I just don't get it.
Assigning a dollar value to a person reminds me of pre-65 America.

By that, I mean 1865....

6. I don't understand why you think dollars are being assigned to people.

You're making an assumption I'm certainly not making. I guess I don't think that way, but you certainly do.

I'm comparing numbers in the billions.

7. Because you are comparing net worth to people, that's why.
Knock yourself out, I just don't quite get the point of it. That's all I am saying.
