Bank of America CEO gets all whiny over criticism. It's working, folks!
‘Incensed’ Moynihan Fights BofA Critics in Letter Campaign

Bank of America Corp. (BAC) Chief Executive Officer Brian T. Moynihan said he’s “incensed” by public criticism of his company and is pushing back by reminding local leaders of its contributions to their economies.

Moynihan, 52, told employees in a global town hall meeting last week from the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina, headquarters that the “place to win the battle” over the bank’s battered public image is at the state and municipal level.

Bank of America’s outreach campaign is part of Moynihan’s effort to turn around the lender since he took over as CEO in January 2010 following two taxpayer bailouts. His plan to charge some debit-card users a $5 monthly fee drew reprimands from President Barack Obama and lawmakers, including U.S. Senator Richard Durbin, the Illinois Democrat who said customers should withdraw their deposits in protest.

“I, like you, get a little incensed when you think about how much good all of you do, whether it’s volunteer hours, charitable giving we do, serving clients and customers well,” Moynihan said during the Oct. 18 gathering. To the bank’s critics, he said, “You ought to think a little about that before you start yelling at us.”

2. Well, Brian
BoA has also done a tremendous amount of harm, and your whining isn't going to endear you to the people you've caused harm to.

If you are a pedophile or a murderer, it really doesn't matter how much other "good" you've done, you are still responsible for the crimes you committed.

bingo, translation "send in the riot police and get rid of those protesters, or you won't get your contributions"

There's one reason the police seemed to have developed a multi city riot gear raid on the campers.

10. He's not the only one pleading for leniency in the court of public opinion now.
I saw an interview of hedge fund owner Ray Dalio (Bridgewater = the largest hedge fund in the world), with Charlie Rose the other day. In it, Dalio appears nervous, desperately arguing that people need to understand how "the machine works" before judging his conduct. What I heard him say underneath the words was, "Please don't lynch me, I only did what the machine dictates to any manager of vast sums of wealth."

The smart ones among the "financial Titans" know something huge is coming... When constant lies are no longer effective in putting enough people to sleep, there will be tidal waves crashing against the predatory financial system.

15. Yeah, that doesn't seem like a good way to win people over to his side.
Which, of course, is to enrich himself.

14. His base salary last year was $950,000.00.
Plus a cool million in additional compensation. That's almost $2 million. Last year.

Fuck this guy, seriously.

18. Typical, a guy sitting in his gold plated mansion is angry
at people not happy about getting nickel and dimed to oblivion by his bank.

"Just shut up and take it quietly people! I need my big bonus this year, how else can I pay for my new yacht?"
