...there were almost 10,000 comments denouncing her and the Oakland Police. Not one positive
comment.

This is how it should be--our elected officials serve and represent THE PEOPLE. They should
fear us, and should govern accordingly. Not the other way around.

I hope she apologizes and I hope she publicly apologizes and makes sure that things are
different now. Those protesters should be allowed to assemble peacefully. If she can't
do a very public mea culpa and spearhead the change that is needed--then she needs to resign.

In my opinion, Olsen has a legitimate lawsuit against the police and the city.
