Fugg you Bush and Perry-go Cardinals

Unrelenting tenacity.

That’s all you can say about the St. Louis Cardinals.

They had lost Game 6 over and over. And over and over they came back.

David Freese froze the moment forever.

Freese had tied the game at 7 in the bottom of the ninth inning with a two-out, two-run triple off the right-field wall off nervous Texas closer Neftali Feliz. And leading off the 11th inning, Freese drilled a 3-and-2-pitch from Mark Lowe, the bottom of the Rangers’ relief barrel, over the center-field wall for a 10-9 victory before 47,325 towel-waving, red-clad fans.

Exciting game. To the 7th

2. The manager of the Cardinals is a radical Teabagger... I think that makes it a wash...
So, how about just PLAY BALL!

6. You really should chill out
Not everything needs a political connotation. Baseball is one of those things.

8. I live in St. Louis, and speaking JUST of baseball,
Edited on Fri Oct-28-11 08:32 AM by Volaris
its been fun the last month watching the 'Birds crash everyone else's postseason party.
Joe Buck (the Cardinals game-caller, for those who might not know) summed it up for all of us, and I think the Rangers as well...

The Cardinals "...JUST. WON'T. GO. AWAY."

Even if my team loses tonight, after forcing game seven after popping a Wild Card spot, working over Philly, taking out the Brewers, and then watching what amounted to batting practice/homerun derby in game 3, I'm PROUD of this team this year, if for no other reason than its been fun to watch, and its been baseball the way baseball is (I think, anyway) SUPPOSED to be.

I agree, To the 7th
