'Are you smarter than a second grader?

Apparently, a group of pavement marking painters may not be.

Just a block away from an elementary school, near the corner of 50th Street and Pine Island Road, subcontractors goofed and stenciled the pavement with the letters "scohol." Yep, you read that right; "scohol" instead of "school."

If that's the way the paint crew believes the word is spelled, they're to be pitied rather than castigated. Products of the public school system.

If it's just a mistake, have a chuckle while they black it out and repaint it. At least someone took the time to preafrood the work.

But I notice that motorists in the area think they're supposed to drive on the banded 'do not drive' area rather than on the marked traffic lane (with the SCOHOL markings on it), so maybe there is a generalized dysLexusia in the area. ;-)
