Who is Heather Bresch? The daughter of Senator Joe Manchin of WV.

There was a scandal a few years ago when Manchin was the Governor of WV and how WVU cooked the books in order to give her a MBA she didn't earn. Interesting read, a perfect example of the privileged 1%.
I wonder if Senator Manchin's decisions about healthcare could be influenced by this?

1. Mylan is a maker of generic drugs, mostly

but this one just screams "BRIBE!" I just wonder what they're going to expect Manchin to do for them in return for hiring his unqualified little girl at an outrageous salary.

She, of course, will spend her time redecorating her office.

2. It couldn't influence his vote on say the importing of drugs from

Canada could it? Or gee couldn't him becoming a Senator have influence on her promotion? Just saying.

3. It really doesn't pay to buy generics in Canada

because the costs are so comparable that any break is usually eaten up by shipping costs.

My guess is that the favors will have to do with hamstringing the FDA and getting fast track approval for a few questionable ones.
