So that there will be no further questions regarding who did what. I want photodocumentation of all of them, always.

1. Great but impossible idea
There are usually so many police officers when the shit hits the fan that you couldn't cover them all. Plus, with Oakland they tried to keep as many people with cameras, as well as the legal observers, out of the area.

So there's a clue. When they don't allow the media or legal observers in an area, something is going to happen that they don't want you to see happen.

2. Yes, and that's when every camera should come out.
Cops looking into a dozen camera lenses =might= consider different courses of action. #OccupyOakland had opportunity to walk up and down that line of police and document all of them. We need to push harder at this.

7. This is one reason why I hate people sometimes.
I'm reminded of the anti-Iraq-invasion protests of 2003. Thousands of us would participate in a peaceful, permitted march. We had a safe and protected and planned route, and a safe and protected and planned destination for the rally that followed. Every time, there would be a group of "black bloc" idiots with their faces covered, encouraging people to march down some street that's off-route and cause mayhem and assorted bullshit.

In a situation like the Occupy movement, one fool can ruin it for thousands. I have a feeling a zero-tolerance policy will develop in these areas, when it comes to dumb-asses trying to start trouble or act like fools. With all this talk about having no leaders, the media will make the dipshits into the "leaders" if their behaviour isn't frowned upon.

11. I might add something else
Rocks, there should be evidence...but if you can throw a plastic bottle that fast, contact the MLB. You deserve to be on a team

Evidence for rocks includes cracked shields.

As we have photo evidence off are eggs and red paint. Eggs also contact the MLB and red pellets, could depending on air soft,

Occupy San Fernando Valley. One can never be too careful anymore.

Of course I will also gladly take photos of any protesters that try anything inappropriate, like throwing stuff at cops. Because they are agitators trying to ruin it for everyone else.

9. Wireless cameras
Small enough to hide and you can control them from a computer off sight.

10. Agree, with an addition -
There should be coordinated camera coverage of protesters when the cops are displaying an eagerness to attack, just to eliminate false claims of rock and bottle throwing.
