Sturtevant Woman Arrested For Stabbing Fiancee

STURTEVANT, Wis. -- A Sturtevant woman has been arrested after police said she stabbed her fiancee and tried to shoot him after catching him with another woman.

A Racine Journal Times report said the woman was jailed on more than $50,000 bond.

Sturtevant police said they were called late Thursday night to a home on a report of a fight. They found a 40-year-old man who had been stabbed.

The man told police that his fiancee found him with the woman in the basement of his home. He said the fiancee aimed a gun at his head and pulled the trigger. He said when it didn't fire, she stabbed him instead.
