anyone else here watch 'Nikita'?

I'm watching it on Netflix streaming as I work here at night. It has a real ring of verisimilitude after all the outRAgeous goings-on.

It makes Mission: Impossible look like Howdy Doody.

You KNOW that this is, in fact, what's going on out there...

3. Watched them both - the old & new.

Just finished watching the newest Nikita from Netflix. I like Maggie Q much, much better than Peta Wilson. Wilson was such a whiner. The new Michael is ok, but I loved Roy Dupuis - quiet, understated, & a serious bad ass! Alberta Watson's Madeline character was much more ruthless than Melinda Clark's Amanda character. Fun to see Watson show up as Oversight. I also liked the Section stage better than the Division one. Putting the recruits workout area that close to a critical operation wouldn't have been done. But they had to set it up so Alex could see some vital info. The Alex character is just ok. Jadin was much better, imo.

I would give both shows equal marks, but I disliked Peta Wilson so much that the new show gets a higher rating.

I don't doubt there are secret organizations that work outside of & beyond government, but are they this well organized, financed & efficient? And if so, could they remain anonymous? Not sure.

8. I look at the the Koch Bros. & how successful they have been, just paying off 'public officials.'

That has to have been much cheaper than financing a Section|Division counter government agenda.

I don't want violent revolution, but I don't see how we can solve the problems we have within the corrupt, compromised, broken system we have in place.

I hope the young people have perseverance. I don't know if I have anything to help them. A bed. Some meals.

Really, does it come down to that?

Maybe it does.

I'm a cynic & a misanthrope, but I still have hope for humanity. So I guess I'm a dreamer, too.

We're all in this together . . .

7. It was easier to watch on Thursdays

Now it's on Fridays when I'm usually out, but it is a good show.
