Occupy Oakland Shuts Down Wells Fargo Bank
Edited on Wed Nov-02-11 03:19 PM by nadinbrzezinski
One Wells Fargo branch has been shut down because of the general  strike in Oakland today.

"We have closed one store today at 14th and Broadway," Wells Fargo  spokeswoman Holly Rockwood said.

Also I luuuve some careful editorial choice on photos. When you go there you will see a guy wearing a hammer and sickle. Subtext. COMMIES. I can't prove it, too new...done by design? I mean the kid wearing the cccp one the other day, it was old, ragged and found at goodwill.

15. Well, if a march or strike were to be announced every day at a different location,,
maybe more branches would shut themselves down out of fear.
wouldn't that be lovely?

Of a guy wearing the Flag of the USSR for all to see...

This is RED MEAT (Pardon the pun)for Fox News and the Right wing. I can just hear Bill O'Reilly now pointing to this photo and saying see? This whole thing is orchestrated by the Communists in this country!!

12. So are we going to see people holding up photos of
Chairman Mao next? If this is photoshopped or the guy is a plant, than this kind of stuff should be attacked at the source.

16. It could have been folded in a drawer.
I don't think we should cry foul at every thing we see.

However, the fact that NBC chose to get this picture and put it with their story is definitely slanting the news, obviously to give the impression that the Occupy movement is a bunch of commie freaks.

We should all comment on their site about their clear bias and include links to pics of all the average, every day, boy/girl next door type protesters.

19. I understand. I just don't think we need to cry wolf so soon, so often.
There are also a lot of unconventional people in the crowd, there are people who do stupid things, just as in any crowd. When I look at that shirt I don't think it's obviously just been bought from a store.

I agree that there are infiltrators and provocateurs though, just don't want to point at every one and say that without proof. You know, the boy who cried wolf and all that. And in this case I think the more telling thing is how it has been focused upon by NBC.

9. That photo is photoshopped.
Can't be real. If it is, that is what the conservative media establishment wants readers to take away from the story.

pull this stuff off endlessly without people catching on.
