LOL Cain's Real Problem
Looks like Cain is basically being roasted for unsuccessfully trying to get some booty on the side.

Sometimes he was a bit too aggressive, and he got turned down a lot.

But there had to be some who didn't turn him down.

Those are the ones that he's afraid of.

1. Woman #3 has surfaced.
I think that hand gesture had nothing to do with his wife's height. Reminds me of that episode in the airport men's room with Tappy McWidestance.

4. I'm thinking it might fall out that he was shlepping enough to
compete with Wilt the Stilt. It's the willing partners that he's desperate to keep quiet. Hope none of them are poor or broke for his sake.

2. His real problem is the divorce laws in Georgia
His wife can get half his shit (or more) AND alimony.

His failed campaign is the least of his problems right now.

6. "unsuccessfully trying to get some booty on the side"
Edited on Wed Nov-02-11 05:17 PM by redqueen
Really?

*sigh*

No. He is being roasted for treating women as if they are just "some booty" and acting as if he has every right to try to "get some".

10. The central issue is and should be sexual harassment
I could care less about his infidelity, although that does drive a stake through the heart of his "family values" claims.

11. Referring to women as "booty on the side" is part and parcel of the problem.
Edited on Wed Nov-02-11 05:48 PM by redqueen
That language, while it may be acceptable in certain contexts / situations, is not acceptable in a conversation about sexual harassment. Unless the intent is to portray the kind of environment which enables sexual harassers to think they're perfectly normal people behaving in a perfectly normal way.

12. huge difference in apples and oranges there, pal.
'trying to get booty' is not equal to 'sexual harassment'.

I'll let you think on that awhile

13. Hijacked by the supersensitive. Reading all sorts of
imaginary things into what I said or didn't say. (shakes head) Have at it if it makes you feel better.

15. Um, no, I'm not supersensitive. Your OP just reeks.
He was a 'bit too aggressive'? No, he was completely dismissive of whether what he was doing was appropriate, or whether the women were receptive.

It's very true that most people don't even notice these things. Our culture accepts the prevailing view of women as that of the other, and the sex class. The media pushes it almost constantly.

Viewed in this context, it's understandable that you would think being called on it made the person calling you out supersensitive, but it is simply not the case.
