Boy turns 11 on 11/11/11
http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/news/5947244/Its-all-1s-for-Cameron

Cameron Burton is one boy with all the ones – today he turns 11 on the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year of this millenium.

What's more, the Upper Hutt boy was born shortly after 1am – according to family history, it was at 1.11am.

"All my friends think it is going to be good luck for me ... I think so too," he said yesterday.

Mum Sarah Whalen added that Cameron was born one day early.

"It's got to mean something – all these ones."

4. Arctic Jodie and I have done "Smoochy Time" at 11:11 on the clock.
We've done it for years.

We consider today to be Smoochy Day Eve.

You can do too if you want.

7. Be fair.
Of course it doesn't "mean something", but the kid's only eleven. Magical thinking and superstition are pretty common among children that age.

It's not foolish: it's immature.

15. Here's another one. Twins turn 11 on 11/11/11
At 11.11.11 on 11.11.11 the time and date will be a perfect same-numbered palindrome, reading the same backwards as forwards - an event which can only happen on one day every 100 years.
But for Betsy and Katie Overman, 11.11.11 is an even more special day - their 11th birthday.
The twins, from Madison, Wisconsin, have already received their present from an aunt – a bag containing 11 bags, each containing 11 little presents.
