Over sixty years of victoryless wars,
And what have we gotten? Deeper in debt, our reputation in shambles. The only benefit for these wars has been to line the pockets of the wealthy.

You would think we would have learned from Vietnam, but here we are, in Afghanistan for who knows how long. Wasting men, wasting money and killing innocents.

Want to solve the debt problem, in fact want to solve a lot of problems in this country? Stop the propagation of these victoryless wars.

1. Still in Afghanistan, still in Iraq, still in Pakistan, still in Yemen.
Both parties are addicted to war.

...we have around the world (not counting those in the two war areas). The end of empire will come one way or another - we should choose to end it ourselves and save our democracy.

10. And don't forget Pappy's war in Panama!
Victories are hard to come by and shouldn't be belittled, even if they ARE little.

16. And yet we continued to bomb it, starve it, and kill its citizens
All throughout the Clinton years. More low level war for over a decade until Bush kicked it back into high gear.

Now it is back to being a low grade war, but war it still is, without end, without victory.
