10. Another inbred CEO...just what HP needs.
Didn't know he had been on the BOD, but that makes sense. She wasn't doing anything else, why not CEO?

9. CEO's reach their positions by having outstanding social skills.
Analytical and/or entrepreneurial skills, not so much. Ms. Whitman is a poster-child of this phenomenon.
