I always knew he was the troublemaker of the bunch.

4. funny, but...
There is considerable and concrete evidence that Paul did actually die and was replaced by a double.

13. Not unless you are willing to believe any conspiracy theory out there
It seems incredibly unlikely that you could find someone who looked incredibly like Paul AND had an extremely similar voice AND who could write incredibly good songs. The joint probability of all those things ihas to be near zero.

You'd have thought he could at least have the presence to suck his gut in a bit before going so viral.

14. I NEVER realized that CAIN got his whole plan listening to the most unlistenable Beatles song there
- probably while under the influence of something.

21. Revolution 9 is partially musique concrète:
Musique concrète (French for "concrete music") is a form of electroacoustic music that utilises acousmatic sound as a compositional resource. The compositional material is not restricted to the inclusion of sounds derived from musical instruments or voices, nor to elements traditionally thought of as "musical" (melody, harmony, rhythm, metre and so on). The theoretical underpinnings of the aesthetic were developed by Pierre Schaeffer, beginning in the early 1940s.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musique_concrète

This would make Revolution 9 with its use of reverse tape technique similar to the Dada'ist collage cover of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

24. I had read that,, but my own opinion that has not changed since
late 1968 is that I really can't listen to it - for some reasons it is disturbing. I have no problem with a art that is disturbing - as long as it has some purpose. I have never seen any purpose to this. (I also disagree heartily with my 26 year old daughter who prefers Yoko's songs on Double Fantasy to John's.)

I guess I could understand the elements of the album cover better.

33. Try some Edgard Varese.
He was Frank Zappa's hero. Varese's "Poeme Electronique" is a fascinating (and brilliant IMO) piece.
