USA TODAY shows Veterans getting arrested outside of WHITE HOUSE but doesn't mention Veterans

check out USA TODAY's headline "War protesters busted outside White House"

Should have said "Well Respected Veterans arrested outside of White House"

Shame on USA Today!

It's cold and snowy in Washington, D.C., but that didn't stop protesters from showing up at the White House today to demonstrate against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Police appeared to arrest an unknown number of protesters as they sought to chain themselves to the White House fence.

The protest took place as President Obama and aides released a progress report on Afghanistan.

The review came as 60% of respondents in an ABC News/Washington Post poll said the Afghanistan war is not worth fighting anymore.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said the administration understands "the stresses that this war causes," but also believes that it is "critical to our national security" and efforts to fight global terrorism.

"I'm well aware of the popular concern, and I understand it," Clinton said. "But I don't think leaders and certainly this president will not make decisions that are matters of life and death and the future security of our nation based on polling. That would not be something that you will see him or any of us deciding."

5. Notice that progressive protesters are consistently suppressed.
Teabaggers, not so much. Westboro Baptist Church protesting at military funerals, not at all.

What's going on when veterans are being arrested for protesting a war they don't believe in?

7. Media is still not covering like the should
shame on them. You can send the troops to their death and war, but god forbid if you cover them protesting when they come home.

that is very different than the 60's. In the 60's the news reported the troops death and the protests.
