I saw a show on the financial channel this morning telling about all the hidden jewels that come with higher interest rates now that US treasuries are on the skid. In addition to that, the tax law passage brings to mind another bonanza---gates. Now, those living in gated communities can afford fancier gates to keep out the poor and middle class. Like the joke goes, if we keep shoveling through the shit, there's a pony in there somewhere.
