Poll question: Does Sarah Palin serve a purpose in the 2012 election?
Almost a serious question, but not really.

1. Yes. She reminds us that it is possible to elect those who would cause vast destruction
and have an orgasm while doing it.

I'm being 100% serious. She and her friends are terribly dangerous.

6. Sarah and her "religious" friends are armageddonists. For real.
Let's not give them "The Button" to play with...

3. She does actually
Her role in the next election, along with a host of other batshit crazy TeaBaggers, will be to put forward the most insane right wing policies which will make Obama's hard right wing policies seem like a sane alternative. This is what is happening now in our media. Americans are being given a choice between sudden or slow death.

11. Yep. No Dem candidate ever takes a hard left position. Ever
This country is so fucking rightwing politically, it'd take a Dem candidate demanding we seize the assets of the wealthy elite to even swing it center!

7. Her presence forces GOP presidential aspirants to lean far right.
By being there, she forces the GOP aspirants to bow to the far right, and in doing so, causes them to move further from the middle that independents find so comforting.

10. Yes she does - to make sure we have another Dem as POTUS!
As long as Sarah is a contender, we have the next election in the bag!

13. If it snows on Election Day, I could toss her in my trunk to put more weight on the rear wheels ...
so I could get to my polling place. Otherwise, I can't think of a thing.
