I Admit That I Was Totally Wrong In My Analysis Of The Tax Compromise Bill
Edited on Fri Dec-17-10 04:41 PM by stopbush
At least in the timing of when the thing would pass, that is.

I said last week that it would pass the House on Monday, but it actually passed on Thursday.

So have at it and tell me what an idiot I am for getting the timing wrong (in my defense, I was heavily influenced by what Lawrence O'Donnell said on his show last week).

2. My DU tag dates from when I joined DU back at the beginning.
We didn't stop bush back in 2004 either.

Unlike you, I don't see Obama as being bush. I see him as dealing with a reality that was handed to him by bush.

Apparently the majority of Ds in Congress agree with Obama on the tax compromise.

3. That is kinda sad if you really think people care that much about the
petty details of your prognostications. Really, who cares?

It feels awfully lonely on DU these days.

6. Yay. You win a cookie!
(if you can find an establishment that will give you one)

Congratulations on your "I was right" post. This does nothing to change my progressive opinion that the bill never should have been brought up for a vote in that form.
