When times get harder, sell grandads gold watch.
That way, some wealthy individual can buy your heirloom for under market value and pay you with monopoly money. US currency is not backed up by gold or anything else of REAL value. And it is losing its buying power everyday. And it will continue to lose buying power until the top 3% of wealth-holders own ALL the true valuables and real estate, especially the farm lands. Once they totally control the food and fuel, we can find out how it feels to live on the streets and beg them to hire us for Chinese-like wages, equivalent to about a dollar a day.

If your smart, convert whatever assets you have into gold, but don't expect to be able to buy it at the exchange rate that the wealthy enjoy.

All the true wealth in this country is being rapidly used up for defense, while politicians tell us "entitlements" are the worst economic problem facing America. We must allow them to fix this entitlement problem so that the sick and elderly can die more quickly. They can't work hard enough to satisfy the elite.

Their bought out news media talks about debt-deficit and inflation, while their puppet politicians on both sides of the isle pass laws that benefit only the ultra-wealthy. These laws will eventually insure that the top 3% of wealth-holders control everything, especially ALL of our lives.

5. I didn't say you were confused
I said I was.

10 years ago it was the "top 1%". 2 months ago it was the "top 2%".

Now it is the "top 3%"?

7. Gold has "Real" Value? Why? You can't eat it.
Gold has "Real" value because enough people say it does.

15. "Is it because less important millionaires are investing in it?
are they?

I'm saying it because the price has gone from 400 to 1400 and they're advertising on the fucking TV.

This tells me that a) the time to buy low has past, b) the price has been driven up, c) someone is looking for suckers to buy it.
