You will shut your mouth and say "Sir, yes sir!" as you carry out the orders and accept openly gay people, and without condescension or an attitude.

You WILL obey the orders of your Commander in Chief without question, without hesitation and with a great big smile on your face or you will be COURT MARTIALED!!!

1. K&R!
Actually, I think the military will continue on with very little impact (to their daily lives).

What this will do is validate the lives and careers of LGBT troops, which is a huge step forward for America. No longer will they have to fear or hide who they are.

One giant step for man, one giant leap for mankind.

2. I agree
Time to for the rank and file to deal with it, though as we know, most already don't have a problem with it. You'll have a few diehards that won't accept it, but they will probably be few in number. In 10 years all of the 'controversy' over this will have been forgotten.

4. I've found in life real men have no issues with "the gays" for the most part. Generally

IMO it's those insecure with their masculinity that seem to have the issues, as well as the closet cases. IMO most in the service would have no difficulty with gays.

5. My retired husband will have no problem being recalled
The Air Force will only let you serve 28 years unlike the other services who let you serve 30.
