Congratulations to the gay rights community for their determined efforts to end discrimination in all its forms in our country.

This is a small step, but a meaningful step. Ending DADT (or more accurately, paving the way to ending DADT) is a down payment on everything else we still need to do to have true equality--marriage equality, an end to workplace discrimination, etc.
