MSNBC: Will the Egyptian Government Fall Into Extremists' Hands? LOL.
Edited on Sat Feb-05-11 10:10 AM by Karmadillo
It's not already in the hands of extremists? Seriously, if one wants a primer on how the corporate media (even "our" MSNBC) works hand in glove with the corporate government to bamboozle and disempower us, one simply needs to watch TV for an hour or two today. There's a 24/7 effort to convince all of us the fulfillment of the Egyptian Revolution lies in the acceptance of a kindler and gentler Mubarak to impose oligarchic policies upon the people. It's the same way we are hoodwinked into thinking the same ol' same ol' is Hope and Change or the depredations of a thug like Reagan are the miraculous people loving works of a demigod. They wouldn't work so hard to make us stupid if they weren't so afraid of us.

1. Considering their current ruler is an autocratic thug..
..any movement that would replace him with something democratic is "extreme." :P

2. Fact is, nobody knows what kind of government will replace the current one.
As long as the citizens of Egypt are mostly happy, so am I.

3. Nothing funny really, instead of using the word extremist they should use zealot.
And, the concern is that in Egypt, zealots who resort to terrorism will take control.

5. heh
The zealots are NOW in control. And they use terrorism. That's why the people are revolting: they have been and are being denied basic human rights.
