MILWAUKEE (AP) - The streak is over: One of the four men featured in a national commercial for never missing a Super Bowl game will not be at Sunday's showdown between Pittsburgh and Green Bay.

Family members said Saturday that 79-year-old Robert Cook of Brown Deer, Wis., is hospitalized and had sent his two daughters to Arlington, Texas, instead.

Cook's wife, Sarah, told The Associated Press her husband became very weak on Thursday.

"We were packed and ready to go," she said.

3. somewhere deep in the universe...
there is some sort of laugh...

truly sorry he is missing the game, as that is a harmless pursuit if ever there was one...

it's just the ying-yang of using 'never' or 'always' that seems to come around sooner rather than later...

who ever knew of these guys who, for myriad reasons, 'never missed a Super Bowl'...

you gotta love marketing...i only hope the other three aren't being all snide and all and asking, "hey...where's Bob?"

i hope he is able to watch the game...and he most likely isn't freezing his ass off and spending big bucks...but he is missing all the imported (as if dallas needs them) 'social entertainers'...
