"It's been x days since DADT was repealed and as of yet...
nobody has brought the draft back, there have been no mass desertions, and no gay generals have proposed nuking countries in order to make them more gay friendly. Still waiting."

These are all things homophobes have said, somebody really needs to make this into a counter or something, so we constantly remind them of just how homophobic the right wing really is, and also why the SPLC has added several of their organizations to their list of hate groups.

3. DADT Stays in Effect as Officials Tackle Plan
unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (DoD? Gannett?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.
To read the article in the military's own words, you will need to click the link.

Read all about Fair Use here. It sure is beginning to smell like fascism.

4. And similarly...
Go outside. Look up. See that blue thing? The sky? Hasn't fallen.

If you have a wedding ring on your finger, take a close look. Isn't worth any less, nor what it represents.
