1. Funny how the outrage slid right off the map.........
I am still outraged at this unconstitutional practice against innocent Americans.

3. Yes, this is unreal and it pisses me off.
Where are our rights to freedom?

There seems to be many issues of outrage that just slip away.

12. Considering nothing has been accomplished-such as TSA
continues right on with their enhanced pat downs and x-ray body scanners, I fail to see why the outrage should stop.

14. What are you going to do if you have to fly?
Some people have to fly on business, some want to see their relatives, etc.
By the way if TSA can do this in order to let people to get on planes, what is to stop TSA from doing the same thing before allowing people on buses, trains, subway, etc? Nothing as far as I can tell.

18. This sounds just like the other argument about taxcuts...
If we don't agree to the taxcuts for the wealthy and the addition of a trillion dollars to our deficit, then it will be a tax increase on the middle class. Nobody is willing to sacrifice anything.

Man boards plane at IAH with loaded gun in carry-on
Friday, December 17, 2010

Nearing the height of last year's Christmas travel season, TSA screeners at Bush Intercontinental Airport somehow missed a loaded pistol, one that was tucked away inside a carry-on computer bag.

"I mean, this is not a small gun," Seif (the owner) said. "It's a .40 caliber gun."

Seif says it was an accident which he didn't realize until he arrived at his destination. He says he carries the glock for protection but forgot to remove it from his bag. He reported the incident as soon as he landed, shocked at the security lapse.

A person briefed on the latest tests tells ABC News the failure rate approaches 70 percent at some major airports. Two weeks ago, TSA's new director said every test gun, bomb part or knife got past screeners at some airports.

Edited on Sun Dec-19-10 02:22 PM by lunatica
Every one of them said they weren't made to go into a scanner or have a pat down. I think it's because of the outrage at the time.

19. Maybe the pants have slipped down because people
Edited on Sun Dec-19-10 06:20 PM by LisaL
take their belts off before going through the metal detector?
Also, some people who have undergone an "enhanced pat down," reported that TSA agents stuck their hands under the waistband of the pants, which could lead to pants slipping down, I presume.

17. Stop it! Goddammit !
I'm an American. You have no right to such searches. If there is no suspicion, there should be no searches. And the suspicion should not be so widespread. It is unhealthy for all of us. Stop this shit!
