Ok so here's where we are and it don't matter which "side" you are on. Listen up.
The smart boys and girls fucked up the economy. They gambled and we lost and they KNEW we would lose.

Enter the fixers- So called Congress

They wanted TARP- they got it. Most of us didn't understand it any better than we understood the need for a war in Iraq. Never mind. They got it. They took it. Its all theirs.

They wanted Stimulus- Sure. Better than sex for the fuckers who stole our economy and for the hapless fixers. Never mind. They got it. They took it and its all theirs. The bad boys got their bonuses to "create" jobs for us. Like that is some real shit. Not.

Point is. THEY do it. They did the GM deal. Ok, so I'm in Michigan and I'm glad they did. But some of the rest of you aren't. Doesn't matter. The fixers come in and they take what we pay in taxes and they decide. Not me. Not you. Them.

They want your schools. They want your food. They want your retirement and they want Social Security.

I could stomach a lot of this. Its nothing new to me as I've been around a long time. But now???

Now they want our homes, our communities, our friends, our neighbors. They cannot have this. We must unite and tell this government enough is enough.

Pay your own goddamn bills rich people. Shut the fuck up and pay your own goddamn bills. We need to march and we need to keep on marching because the fixers aren't taking us seriously. A commercial on TV sucks up to us better than the very President and politicians WE put in office.

1. What you are describing is the break up of a social contract
and we need not marches... but strikes.

4. Strikes and boycotts of non-essential spending
$$$ is all they understand.
It's the only reason they do what they do.
It's the only way to hurt them.

8. Payment strike. Start with credit cards...............
because that's unsecured debt. BUT IT'S GOT TO BE ORGANIZED. Otherwise it just looks like more people being late on payments. Also, remember on your credit report it's not considered late until it's a full 30 days late. The credit card people might hit you with late fees, etc., but it won't affect your credit unless it's 30+ days late.

I also agree with the boycott of non-essential spending. We don't need a lot of the shit we buy anyway.

14. Something like striking on credit card payments must be organized
or there will be no message and no consequences other than late fees for the bold.

We've already started boycotting nonessential spending (eating out, coffee drings, electronics, toys, replacing nothing that isn't actually broken, books limited to used books). Christmas is limited to a one-item name-draw gift exchange, $30 limit, all items from need (not want) lists, which is no problem because there is plenty of need in our family.

13. General strikes.
Crash the system. Throw ourselves on the gears if need be to bring their economy to a dead-halt. Break out the starry plough and march in the streets. Disrupt their commerce.

Our economy...for us. Not for them. Us. Our labor, our fruits.

17. We are at the social protest stage
good news most conflict ENDS at this stage... of the game.

It may even take a few riots... but as strange as this may sound to people we are beyond the riot stage.

Here is a progression on this, and we are at a paradigm shift stage.

Riots= usually disorganized, once they are done, they are done. See Rodney King riots.

Social Protest= where you get a lot of push and go... real organized push back. Yes the 1960s were quite a bit of it, and you and I know how the hell they scared the elites, world wide.

Revolution= rarely we reach this point... think Russia 1917 or yes, the French Revolution.

For many complex reasons even the American Revolution was not a revolution in the full sense of the word.

Of course in the US we also need to add Imperial Collapse and that is accelerating towards end game. When that happens, and it is official... one to two generations of general malaise and the early days... all bets are off.

3. Ah, but it DOES matter whose side you're on.........
because solidarity is the ONLY way to fight these fuckers. The ONLY thing we have is numbers. There's a whole Hell of a lot more of us than there are them. IF you're not on the side of the people, then you're on the side of the capitalists. If you're on THEIR side, it might be time to shut the fuck up and not make it obvious.

7. When the first street sign is called Bill Gates Ave. or BP street or there is
a neighborhood school with the name of a Wall Street Hedgehog, then maybe people will begin to scratch their heads--at least.

5. This country is long overdue for a second party.
If one doesn't emerge soon, well, then it's torches and pitchforks time.

People are fed up and it's time to take a stand. Well, as long as the protest isn't scheduled when 'American Idol' is on because hey, that would be asking too much.

15. Not sure what you mean. Could you please elaborate?
Who are the "fixers?" Are you saying that we need to elect better people to Congress? I definitely agree on that but if all we ever get to choose from are "evil" and "not-quite-so-evil-as-the-other-candidate", that's really not much of a choice. If you're saying that we need to focus on local elections, that's great and I agree but unfortunately, anyone worth a shit on the local level will most likely never get elevated to the national level because they'll have to fight the Big Money Machine and I think we both know who how that turns out. Don't get me wrong. We're on the same page. I'm just not sure what your vision of the "fixers" is in the broad scheme of things.

21. Oh, I fully agree with that. I'm just not sure how to do it since all we get,
locally and nationally, are a bunch of tools that support the status quo.
