2. A compelling argument
And one I expect to see advanced some time around January 4, and enacted into law by January 20. Because it'll be the best deal we can possibly get and couldn't possibly be any better.

3. I can't BELIEVE that they're trying to sell the horseshit that this will create jobs!
I know they think we're stupid, but they're really being overt about it. If nothing else, it's bad form.

4. It's not about us, stupid or otherwise.
It's about them keeping more money so the government can't function as well as it should.

5. Actors....following in grandpa Reagan's footsteps.
I wish just once that some Democrat (or Indy) would get up and talk about what an empty-headed absentee fraud of a President Reagan was and how the policies of his administration began the long downward slide this country has taken. If the Democrats intend to be in control again, the policies of the last thirty years must be discussed and the myths surrounding certain political figures must be shown for what they are. Right-wing policies have brought us to this place and we need to make sure they own it.

6. No they wouldn't say nobody's unemployed, they would say only the lazy are unemployed

Reagan was a master of this sentiment, especially as it related to welfare.
The invisible hand helps the industrious and punishes the indolent.

They would further state it's an individual's responsibility to work hard and succeed. If one does not succeed for whatever reason, it the individual's fault (even if due to sickness). And nothing should be done for them.
