Governor Mubarak says that a majority of the state is with him,
so I'm wondering if the unions are going to call his bluff.

Is anyone calling for a general strike?

If I lived in Wisconsin you better believe I'd be sleeping at the capital building.

Q3JR4.

We the people are many and we are strong.

3. Watching CBS news tonight, you would have believed
it if that's all you saw. What a disgusting perversion of what was really happening there and unfortunately across much of the nation that's all the information that people got. I didn't see ABC or NBC but I'm sure it wasn't any different.

4. Me thinks the governor is delusional! Where ARE his supporters! ha!
Haven't heard anyone calling for a general strike...yet. I'd go because I'm close enough, NW IN, but being the only caretaker for my elderly Mother it's impossible. Hell, I'd love to make a sign! SO much is resting on the success of these protests....I hope they realize the vast implications of their actions...I guess, they do but.............oh, boy, it's tense.

5. Every piece of information from
that part of the U.S. has me on pins and needles.

I want them to be successful and I want them to do so in a way that sets a road map for the rest of the U.S.

THIS must be our line in the sand.

6. I think the lack of news coverage today is very harmful.....it's one reason
I say the situation is tense. I, too, hope the WI protesters set the guidelines that will lead to a continuing demise of the radical right and their corporate masters. If this isn't the line in the sand, I have no clue to what would be.
