1. Well, if he is guilty of the same crimes as the officers of the Third Reich
I don't see why his punishment should be different.

3. Excellent point, although I think death would be too easy on him. Let him live
a nice, long life in a prison cell. Maybe on "suicide watch" like Bradley Manning.

2. Actually his pentalty is not as important as people knowing about it.
The concept of justice is to show people that the world can be just. Many would say he has been tried and is already under a form of that punishment. However that could help him, it misses on helping society.

If he is tried, the results should be known, and it should be in an open court, so that people can see that there is attempts at justice.

Same things with the tortures that were erased, that correction does not help the society know that such things are corrected.

Justice is also for people to have trust in the systems of justice. Although with compassion, all prisoners should be treated with dignity, and protected from more violent prisoners, some of the things happening in prisons is terrible, especially since many people in prison are innocent.

There are many people in prison from manufactured circumstantial evidence, or lineups with people that look similar to them. Although there has to be a form of justice enforcement, and that is not always perfect, when unjust situations of false imprisonment occur, proper compensation should also occur, and especially for the innocent in prisons, all prisoners should be treated with dignity and protection.

And I am due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

6. True, Random Thoughts
The public approbation would be the most important punishment for Bush.
