Something STINKS...original Hintz righteous rant pulled and then charged with sexual misconduct...
What's going on here??? You tell ME...it SMELLS, doesn't it?

Got this off of reddit and if you wish to dig around and verify/add more info please help yourself.

"So, this may belong more in /r/conspiracy than /r/politics, but I find this a bit strange:
Hintz makes a big impact on youtube, particularly among the protesters and liberals in Wisconsin.
The day after it is put up, two things happen: The video is taken down via copyright claim from "WisconsinEye," and Senator Hintz is arrested for a "sexual misconduct" charge from a few weeks back.
Now, WisconsinEye's board of directors is chaired by Margaret Farrow, ex-Senator (R), close contributor to Walker's campaign, and member of the "Palin Truth Squad." Also on the board is Diane Hendricks, wife of Ken Hendricks, who was disciplined for illegal campaign contributions to Scott McCallum, a republican, in 2001.
So the day after Hintz is made into an icon for the protesters, he is arrested on 3 week old charges, and his video is taken down by major contributors to Walker's campaigns.
Anyone find this a little weird, or am I crazy?"

***********************

Someone asked me to make it a separate thread, I think this guy deserves lots of SUNSHINE on his situation.

2. Wow. I hadn't realized it was that same rep who made the rant.
Sounds like he went to a massage parlor?

Look at the unique language used in this arrest.

The ordinance prohibits paying or receiving "a fee, directly or indirectly, or to offer or ask for anything of value, for touching or offering to touch the sexual parts of another." Hintz posted a $2,667.50 bond and is scheduled to appear on April 27 in front of an Outagamie County court commissioner.

He's single by the way.

Just another happy ending ?

A 170,000 hits in 2 days.

18. OMG! Corruption at its finest. Are these RepubliCorporate legislators getting money
under the table from the Koch brothers for behaving this way? The roll call couldn't have been called more rapidly & the voting was hurried along before the Democrats came in (at the time they were given by the thugs).

What checks & balances are in place for ensuring ethical behavior?

9. After you watch Hintz' video, watch this original one...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO8RE1UM8Yg that shows exactly what Hintz was referring to. It shows the Republicans voice-voting on their own amendments and passing them before the scheduled time of 5pm,and before the Democrats show up. After the Dems show up, they continue to vote, ignore the Democrats loud opposition, and pass another of their own amendments.

Remember they only suspended the vote because they got caught. Hintz is clearly being targeted by TPTB because he's exposing the TRUTH.

10. Another thread wrt taking down the video...
"Just an FYI regarding the video "Representative Gordon Hintz on the "Budget repair bill". Wiseye.org sent me a take down notice for the video today. The video had gotten rather popular much to my surprise. Today I received threats of legal action from Christopher Long (President & CEO of WisconsinEye). I tried to get permission to keep it up, but they seem to think it's misrepresenting the content.
If you want write chris.long@wiseye.org and tell him that's bullshit or something. Anyway, I don't really want to get sued, so the video is down now."
Sorry to anyone hoping to post/view it."

15. wtf? Ritter trolled for teenage girls. Spitzer likes fucking prostitutes
and evidently Hintz frequents massage parlors. So was Senator Vitter smeared and set up too?

16. Was Ritter ever convicted of anything?
If you could provide a link to a reputable source, that'd be terrif.

I just watched Client 9 -- The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer. Why don't you do the same and then we'll talk. Yeah, sure, Spitzer liked prostitutes. But the standard for enforcement is the Feds never go after the johns. Why did that Republican US Attorney go after Spitzer?

Yeah Vitter liked to pay to be diapered. But Republican Vitter's still in the Senate, isn't he? You can see the distinction, can't you?

17. evidently Ritter goes to trial on March 8
Ritter was arrested in April 2001<32> and again in June 2001<33><34> in connection with police stings in which officers posed as under-aged girls to arrange meetings of a sexual nature. The first incident did not lead to any charges.<32> He was charged with a misdemeanor crime of "attempted endangerment of the welfare of a child" after the second, but charges were dropped and the record was sealed on condition that he avoid further trouble for a period of time.<32><35> News of the arrests became public after sealed court records were anonymously provided to the press. Ritter claimed that the timing of the leak was a politically motivated effort to distract attention from his statements about Iraq.<33><34><36>

Ritter was arrested again in November 2009<37> over communications with a police decoy he met on an Internet chat site. Police claim that he showed himself masturbating via a web camera after the officer said she was a 15-year-old girl; Ritter claims he was not made aware of the ostensible age of his correspondent before the act. The next month, Ritter waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was released on a $25,000 unsecured bail. Charges included "unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communications facility, corruption of minors, indecent exposure, possessing instruments of crime, criminal attempt and criminal solicitation".<38> Ritter is scheduled to face trial on these charges on March 8, 2011.

And if you don't like Vitter as an example how about Foley?

14. WisconsinEye
WisconsinEye is a non-profit, private public affairs cable network in the state of Wisconsin, USA. The network airs gavel-to-gavel coverage of the Wisconsin Legislature, including floor sessions of the Wisconsin State Assembly and Wisconsin State Senate, plus committee meetings and other programs of state interest such as panels, town halls, and programs about state history. The coverage is available live both on the cable network as well as through the WisconsinEye website.

The channel is being financed by private donors including Wisconsin billionaires Ken and Diane Hendricks, who have contributed more than US$1 million.

MISSION STATEMENT

Its people and communities define Wisconsin. Voices and ideas arise from diverse geographic, ethnic, economic, cultural, and political landscapes, gathering with many others in striving for common ground in forums across the state and, ultimately, under the dome of our historic Capitol in Madison.

Today, many of our brightest voices and best ideas are limited in their exposure to others. Citizenship-building information accessible to all in our modern society is lacking.

Yet we know that public trust requires public participation. Ethical leadership requires access to leaders. Invigorating citizenship requires an invitation to all to become participants.

Our future demands that we find new ways, better ways, to connect, engage, talk, debate, share, learn, and grow.

The WisconsinEye Network is an extraordinary means of communicating every aspect of Wisconsin public life.

With our fully digital broadcast production technology, WisconsinEye serves our audience via both television and the Internet. Our state-of-the-art robotic cameras in the Capitol produce gavel-to-gavel, unedited coverage of state proceedings. WisconsinEye's studio facilities near Capitol Square are equipped for live production, including viewer call-in programs. Our team of professional videographers covers community affairs and public policy discussions across the state. The WisconsinEye website offers both live and archived video streaming of our Capitol coverage as well as other resources for civic education and engagement.

WisconsinEye is the technological gathering place where all can watch, listen, learn, and participate in our democratic society and our future: from home viewers who thirst to stay informed and in touch, to students and teachers in civics classrooms all across the state, to mobile viewers using the Internet to stay connected.

The public policy discussions, the civic forums, the community events, the art we produce, the discoveries we make, the jobs we create, all that we contribute toward the common good in our communities and our state, WisconsinEye tells these stories of our public life, with an independent, nonpartisan perspective and without bias.

...A million Dollars and No Bias?
