This Isn't Union Busting. It's Woman Busting.
Husband is retired teacher. The vast, vast number of teachers today are women (men were driven to other professions to make a living). It's interesting, isn't it, that these governors don't particularly want to go after cops of firefighters (male dominated jobs)-- in some cases they have singled them out as exempt from the union busting; but are licking their lips to go after teachers. Of course the GOP seems to be looking for job creation to take place in our vagina because that's were the Congressional GOP has had their head for the last few weeks in their "abortion" hunt. It's open season on women--haven't you figured that out yet???

1. "vast number" != "all" therefore it is union busting

2. No, it's union busting; it's just that they've set the propaganda machine up for teachers for now.
Once they taste success, they will go after cops and firefighters (many of whom happen to be women as well).

3. It is union busting, even though it its women
disproportionately.

The opening salvo was when Reagan fired the air traffic controllers, alas with the sanction of Lane Kirkland, then the president of the AFL-CIO. I knew then that unions were doomed.

Maybe in the thirty years since things have changed and the protesters in Madison will make a difference. I hope so.
