IKE Defines "Stupid"

"This is what I mean by my constant insistence on 'moderation' in government. Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes that you can do these things. Among them are a few Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or businessman from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid," - president Eisenhower

2. What a wonderful place America used to be.
Anyone saying something like that today would be considered quite naive..The Stupid have taken over and are turning America into the most stupid and are quite proud of their efforts.

7. Ike would be a moderate Dem today.
Ford probably couldn't get elected to Congress from his old district--they elected an extreme tea-bagger in the fall.

Even Richard "Negative Income Tax" Nixon wouldn't stand a chance with the tea bagger crew.

Somehow, the old Republican party turned itself into the Puke party some time in the '70s and then elected Reagan.

It's been all downhill for the country ever since.

6. Kicked and recommended although their number has grown because they own most of the corporate media
and dumbing down the American People has been an ongoing process.

The premise being, the more ignorant the American People; are about domestic and world affairs, the more intelligent these "stupid" people will seem to be.

Thanks for the thread, kpete.
